I help teams and organisations to deliver better outcomes. I untangle the knots that prevent teams and organisations from achieving their full potential.
I am a constant learner and always curious to listen to other peoples ideas, practises and experiences and to engage in stimulating discussions. I am a critical thinker and do not use one pattern only. I lead by example rather than to manage.
I know from experience that every organisation or team works differently. A one-fits-all-solution will rarely lead to good results. Hence I introduce new concepts and principles and discuss and apply them together with the client. I introduce an agile inspect-and-adapt approach to test and gradually refine the changes we made.
My background lies in software-development and software-architecture. I have been working for over 20 years for national and multi-national organisations in large and small teams. In 2006 I came in touch with agile values and principles. Since then I am applying these values on a daily basis as an Agile Coach and Scrum Master.
Although I am a pragmatist, I do understand the concepts and theory behind the practice. I graduated in Computer Science (Dipl.-Ing. Technische Informatik, M.Sc.) and hold MBA from Durham University Business School.
I am the organiser of the Learning by Playing Meetup in Hamburg, as well as #play14 Hamburg und #play14 Berlin.
